About our guest
Raksha Mahabeer is a brand and marketing expert who believes that great marketing strategies help businesses to deliver real value to their customers. She works with SMEs and large corporates in South Africa to establish their brands and expand their impact.
Raksha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and Communications from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She’s also completed multiple post-degree programmes that focus on entrepreneurship and enterprise development. She’s a well-recognised speaker on marketing and branding topics, and she’s deeply passionate about her work. In 2007, her passion lead to the co-launch of her creative design agency, SummerTime Creatives. In 2020, she launched another business named Raksha Mahabeer Consultancy where she focuses on personal and entrepreneurial development.
Raksha loves to connect, communicate, and inspire. Outside of her busy life as a business owner, she’s also involved in other initiatives as a Board Member, volunteer Event Planner, Chairperson, Mastermind Consultant, and Mentor. When she’s not in office, you’ll find her spending time in spaces that allow her to cut out the clutter and chaos of the daily grind. She enjoys daily walks in nature, a good swim, meditation and mindfulness practices, and time with her loved ones and her dog.
